Facilitator: Emer Savage has been working in education since 2006. She has worked in DEIS and non-DEIS schools as a class-teacher and in SET roles. In 2019-20 Emer trained as a Forest School leader. In 2021 she decided to take a break from the classroom to work as Education Coordinator at Global Action Plan (GAP). In this role Emer worked with a variety of schools and community groups with a focus on nature connection, outdoor learning, global citizenship education and nature-based learning for students and teachers.
