Annette was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome during the PME in 2015. She completed the PME at UCD in 2016 with a 2.1. She spent some time in other careers before returning to teaching after the Pandemic.
Annette taught in St Joseph's Catholic High School in Slough for one year, then returned to Ireland and has been teaching in St Declan's College, Dublin, for the last two years. She completed an SEN Level 9 course with Hibernia last year (2023-2024) and due to this was offered a role as one of the AEN Co-ordinators at St Declan's for 2024-2025.
